Rampant Miseducation

Takes this for a fact from a person who has studied political science: Everytime someone is oppressed, some rich guy gets richer.

Just heard a rumor that someone stole the blueprints of Marina Mall. Great....now what are we going to do. We can't even shop now, so what do they expect Kuwaiti youths to do now. It sucks, especially for well-traveled ones, to come to Kuwait and have fun. What is there to do in Kuwait. Nothing. I think the parliament members should discuss a more pressing issue in Kuwait and that is boredom. Instead of discussing Nancy Ajram's titties or implementing laws on concerts. How about they solve the problem of youth and what they are to do here.

I happened to pick up a public school social studies textbook a couple of days back and it's complete crap. The book was false and directionless. The whole book was praising the islamic civilization and praising arab countries. A whole textbook of kiss-ass.

I feel like that anyone that is in a public school must have been spoon-fed morality and the "right way of living," while never concentrating on actually giving true facts from which a person can prosper into being a self-thinker and a well-rounded person.

The education system is the sole thing we have on broadening the youth's intellect and allowing them to become better citizens that will create a more just system. It's sad to see many people graduating from Kuwait University. When I know for a fact that does not constitute a real diploma. Don't mean to offend anyone, but if you were in public schools all your life and went to Kuwait University and you are not well-read and/or well-traveled, then you have a long long long way to go before you grasp what the notion of a true education is.

It's different for people of the sciences. But for humanities, I am sorry to tell you but you have been punked. Education is the sole way to a better world. Education is different from academic manipulation.

Don't allow anyone to miseducate you, even if you have to be self-taught.
